OKLAHOMA CITY-Montana-bred DMNV Mountable won the $194,000 Grade 1 Remington Park Derby for 3-year-old quarter horses on Saturday night.

The son of Panther Mountain, owned by Toby Dahl of Roundup and Ezra Lee of Bayfield, Colo., got off to a quick start and won by a length over hard-charging Furrtreeous, with Eyesa Candy Maker third.

The victory in the 10-horse field was worth $87,585.

DMNV Mountable covered the 400 yards in 19.903 seconds under jockey Kenny Muntz. At 702 odds, the colt paid $9.80 to win, $5 to place and $3.20 to show. DMNV Mountable, trained by former Glasgow resident Jacque Uphaus, has won six of nine lifetime starts and now has $175,820 in overall earnings.
